[Media Report] National Chin-Yi University of Technology Hosts Ming Hsiu enterpriser Networking Event

National Chin-Yi University of Technology recently organized the "Ming Hsiu enterpriser" networking event to recognize the selfless contributions of the business community to education. This event was inspired by General Zhang Ming and Mrs. Wang Guo-xiu,who, driven by love and selfless dedication, founded Feng Chia University and later donated it to the nation, making it a national university. With the aim of promoting the spirit of love and selfless dedication and ensuring the sustainable development of the university, the "Hosts Ming Hsiu enterpriser Event" was held. It provided a platform for entrepreneurs to network, collaborate, gain new knowledge, and engage in technical discussions. The "Ming Hsiu enterpriser" networking event included the presentation of certificates of appreciation, an introduction to the group by Mr. Tsai Zhong-da, CEO of Hongju precision machinery, an overview of the company by Mr.Derek Lin, General Manager of Yankee Engineering, and a keynote speech by Mr. Chen Hu-mu, Executive Director of National Chin-Yi University of Technology ESG Sustainable Development Center. His presentation focused on "International Trends and Threats in ESG and Taiwan Industry Response Strategies." This topic is currently a prevalent issue and of great concern to entrepreneurs, revolving around sustainable management, carbon footprint assessment, and emissions reduction. Dr. Chen Wen-yuan, President of National Chin-Yi University of Technology, expressed the hope that through the assistance of businesses in raising funds for scholarships as part of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Deep Cultivation Program, disadvantaged students could concentrate on their studies. By donating scholarships for underprivileged students, alumni and industries enable these students to pursue their education with peace of mind. Dr. Chen also encouraged students to study diligently, inherit the belief in helping others, create a better future, and ensure the continuous cycle of goodness in society. He mentioned that thanks to the dedicated efforts of previous university presidents, National Chin-Yi University of Technology has continually progressed and transformed, repeatedly being selected as the favorite university among businesses.
